About

Caution:
Bitcoin as an investment is a very risky one: the investor can easily lose everything. Click here for a partial list of risks.

If Bitcoin were controlled by a centralized authority, it would fall to that authority to educate the public. Lacking the above, this effort is a private contribution, wishing to educate.

If you asked an engineer to describe a cell phone, they would be right in telling you what it IS: "A network enabled electro acoustical device capable of converting sound to signal..."

Nobody would ever buy a phone if it were sold this way. The vast majority of customers are non-engineers and understand it in much simpler terms: "Buy the device. Buy the plan. Dial a number. Speak to my friends." They care only for what it does for them; not how.

This blog educates about Bitcoin in the latter way, and encourages innovation in user-friendliness.
